Petra Kolber 321 Dance

An easy-to-follow workout that’s energetic, effective and lots of fun. Petra’s cuing is superb; her energy is irresistible. The program’s unique design makes these dance progressions totally non-intimidating. Each combo starts with a basic pattern — either a march, a step-touch or a step-tap. But that’s just the beginning. Smoothly and gracefully, Petra transitions that pattern into a fast-paced medley of creative variations (e.g. a march becomes a Mambo, a step-tap becomes a chassé). The movements are wide-ranging with constantly moving arms (from simple overhead motions to 70s-style “disco arms”). Lots of pivots and turns (difficult on carpeted floors).

Petra Kolber is an award winning fitness choreographer, instructor and presenter. She has starred and choreographed in over 25 fitness workouts and has appeared numerous times on television in her own television show and as a frequent guest on the morning news shows. Winner of 2001 IDEA Fitness Instructor of the Year, 2003 and 2004 ECA Best Female Presenter of the Year, 2000 Canadian Fitness Professionals International Presenter of the Year and is the winner of Health magazine's Fitness Crusader of the Year.
